Getting America back to work. Reagan's Prospective.

As unemployment continues to go up despite BO's illusion that it wouldn't go over 8% if his stupid stimulus package was passed is now at 9.4% and still climbing. As this Administration does more and more to socialized and nationalized our GDP I have copied an insert of Ronald Reagan's speech with his assessment of what was needed to get us out of the quagmire that was inflicting the country after 4 years of Carter's corruption and incompetence that BO is making look like he was a genius in comparison. It's a bit lengthy (this will be my longest entry ever), but well worth the read.

The insert goes as follows:

These United States are confronted with an economic affliction of great proportions. We suffer from the longest and one of the worst sustained inflations in our national history. It distorts our economic decisions, penalizes thrift, and crushes the struggling young and the fixed-income elderly alike. It threatens to shatter the lives of millions of our people. Idle industries have cast workers into unemployment, human misery and personal indignity. Those who do work are denied a fair return for their labor by a tax system which penalizes successful achievement and keeps us from maintaining full productivity.

But great as our tax burden is, it has not kept pace with public spending. For decades we have piled deficit upon deficit, mortgaging our future and our children’s future for the temporary convenience of the present. To continue this long trend is to guarantee tremendous social, cultural, political, and economic upheavals. You and I, as individuals, can, by borrowing, live beyond our means, but for only a limited period of time. Why then should we think that collectively, as a nation, we are not bound by that same limitation? We must act today in order to preserve tomorrow. And let there be no misunderstanding -- we’re going to begin to act beginning today.

The economic ills we suffer have come upon us over several decades. They will not go away in days, weeks, or months, but they will go away. They will go away because we as Americans have the capacity now, as we have had in the past, to do whatever needs to be done to preserve this last and greatest bastion of freedom. In this present crisis, government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem. From time to time we’ve been tempted to believe that society has become too complex to be managed by self-rule, that government by an elite group is superior to government for, by, and of the people. But if no one among us is capable of governing himself, then who among us has the capacity to govern someone else? All of us together -- in and out of government -- must bear the burden. The solutions we seek must be equitable with no one group singled out to pay a higher price. We hear much of special interest groups. Well our concern must be for a special interest group that has been too long neglected. It knows no sectional boundaries, or ethnic and racial divisions, and it crosses political party lines. It is made up of men and women who raise our food, patrol our streets, man our mines and factories, teach our children, keep our homes, and heal us when we’re sick -- professionals, industrialists, shopkeepers, clerks, cabbies, and truck drivers. They are, in short, “We the People.” This breed called Americans.

Well, this Administration’s objective will be a healthy, vigorous, growing economy that provides equal opportunities for all Americans with no barriers born of bigotry or discrimination. Putting America back to work means putting all Americans back to work. Ending inflation means freeing all Americans from the terror of runaway living costs. All must share in the productive work of this “new beginning,” and all must share in the bounty of a revived economy. With the idealism and fair play which are the core of our system and our strength, we can have a strong and prosperous America at peace with itself and the world. So as we begin, let us take inventory. We are a nation that has a government -- not the other way around. And this makes us special among the nations of the earth. Our Government has no power except that granted it by the people. It is time to check and reverse the growth of government which shows signs of having grown beyond the consent of the governed.

It is my intention to curb the size and influence of the Federal establishment and to demand recognition of the distinction between the powers granted to the Federal Government and those reserved to the states or to the people. All of us -- all of us need to be reminded that the Federal Government did not create the states; the states created the Federal Government. Now, so there will be no misunderstanding, it’s not my intention to do away with government. It is rather to make it work -- work with us, not over us; to stand by our side, not ride on our back. Government can and must provide opportunity, not smother it; foster productivity, not stifle it.

If we look to the answer as to why for so many years we achieved so much, prospered as no other people on earth, it was because here in this land we unleashed the energy and individual genius of man to a greater extent than has ever been done before.Freedom and the dignity of the individual have been more available and assured here than in any other place on earth. The price for this freedom at times has been high, but we have never been unwilling to pay that price. It is no coincidence that our present troubles parallel and are proportionate to the intervention and intrusion in our lives that result from unnecessary and excessive growth of Government. It is time for us to realize that we are too great a nation to limit ourselves to small dreams.

We're not, as some would have us believe, doomed to an inevitable decline. I do not believe in a fate that will fall on us no matter what we do. I do believe in a fate that will fall on us if we do nothing. So with all the creative energy at our command, let us begin an era of national renewal. Let us renew our determination, our courage, and our strength. And let us renew our faith and our hope. We have every right to dream heroic dreams. Those who say that we’re in a time when there are no heroes -- they just don’t know where to look. You can see heroes every day going in and out of factory gates. Others, a handful in number, produce enough food to feed all of us and then the world beyond. You meet heroes across a counter -- and they’re on both sides of that counter. There are entrepreneurs with faith in themselves and faith in an idea who create new jobs, new wealth and opportunity. There are individuals and families whose taxes support the Government and whose voluntary gifts support church, charity, culture, art, and education.

Their patriotism is quiet but deep. Their values sustain our national life. Now I have used the words “they” and “their” in speaking of these heroes. I could say “you” and “your” because I’m addressing the heroes of whom I speak -- you, the citizens of this blessed land. Your dreams, your hopes, your goals are going to be the dreams, the hopes, and the goals of this Administration, so help me God.We shall reflect the compassion that is so much a part of your make-up. How can we love our country and not love our countrymen -- and loving them reach out a hand when they fall, heal them when they’re sick, and provide opportunity to make them self-sufficient so they will be equal in fact and not just in theory? Can we solve the problems confronting us? Well the answer is an unequivocal and emphatic "Yes."

To paraphrase Winston Churchill, I did not take the oath I’ve just taken with the intention of presiding over the dissolution of the world’s strongest economy. In the days ahead, I will propose removing the roadblocks that have slowed our economy and reduced productivity. Steps will be taken aimed at restoring the balance between the various levels of government. Progress may be slow -- measured in inches and feet, not miles -- but we will progress. It is time to reawaken this industrial giant, to get government back within its means, and to lighten our punitive tax burden. And these will be our first priorities, and on these principles there will be no compromise. On the eve or our struggle for independence a man who might’ve been one of the greatest among the Founding Fathers, Dr. Joseph Warren, president of the Massachusetts Congress, said to his fellow Americans,"Our country is in danger, but not to be despaired of. On you depend the fortunes of America. You are to decide the important question upon which rest the happiness and the liberty of millions yet unborn. Act worthy of yourselves."Well I believe we, the Americans of today, are ready to act worthy of ourselves, ready to do what must be done to insure happiness and liberty for ourselves, our children, and our children’s children. And as we renew ourselves here in our own land, we will be seen as having greater strength throughout the world. We will again be the exemplar of freedom and a beacon of hope for those who do not now have freedom. To those neighbors and allies who share our freedom, we will strengthen our historic ties and assure them of our support and firm commitment. We will match loyalty with loyalty. We will strive for mutually beneficial relations. We will not use our friendship to impose on their sovereignty, for our own sovereignty is not for sale.

As for the enemies of freedom, those who are potential adversaries, they will be reminded that peace is the highest aspiration of the American people. We will negotiate for it, sacrifice for it; we will not surrender for it -- now or ever. Our forbearance should never be misunderstood. Our reluctance for conflict should not be misjudged as a failure of will. When action is required to preserve our national security, we will act. We will maintain sufficient strength to prevail if need be, knowing that if we do so, we have the best chance of never having to use that strength.Above all we must realize that no arsenal or no weapon in the arsenals of the world is so formidable as the will and moral courage of free men and women. It is a weapon our adversaries in today's world do not have. It is a weapon that we as Americans do have. Let that be understood by those who practice terrorism and prey upon their neighbors.

I am -- I'm told that tens of thousands of prayer meetings are being held on this day; and for that I am deeply grateful. We are a nation under God, and I believe God intended for us to be free. It would be fitting and good, I think, if on each inaugural day in future years it should be declared a day of prayer. This is the first time in our history that this ceremony has been held, as you’ve been told, on this West Front of the Capitol.Standing here, one faces a magnificent vista, opening up on this city’s special beauty and history. At the end of this open mall are those shrines to the giants on whose shoulders we stand. Directly in front of me, the monument to a monumental man. George Washington, father of our country. A man of humility who came to greatness reluctantly. He led America out of revolutionary victory into infant nationhood. Off to one side, the stately memorial to Thomas Jefferson. The Declaration of Independence flames with his eloquence. And then beyond the Reflecting Pool, the dignified columns of the Lincoln Memorial. Whoever would understand in his heart the meaning of America will find it in the life of Abraham Lincoln.Beyond those moments -- those monuments to heroism is the Potomac River, and on the far shore the sloping hills of Arlington National Cemetery, with its row upon row of simple white markers bearing crosses or Stars of David. They add up to only a tiny fraction of the price that has been paid for our freedom. Each one of those markers is a monument to the kind of hero I spoke of earlier. Their lives ended in places called Belleau Wood, the Argonne, Omaha Beach, Salerno, and halfway around the world on Guadalcanal, Tarawa, Pork Chop Hill, the Chosin Reservoir, and in a hundred rice paddies and jungles of a place called Vietnam.Under one such a marker lies a young man, Martin Treptow, who left his job in a small town barber shop in 1917 to go to France with the famed Rainbow Division. There, on the Western front, he was killed trying to carry a message between battalions under heavy fire. We're told that on his body was found a diary. On the flyleaf under the heading, “My Pledge,” he had written these words:"America must win this war. Therefore, I will work; I will save; I will sacrifice; I will endure; I will fight cheerfully and do my utmost, as if the issue of the whole struggle depended on me alone."

The crisis we are facing today does not require of us the kind of sacrifice that Martin Treptow and so many thousands of others were called upon to make. It does require, however, our best effort, and our willingness to believe in ourselves and to believe in our capacity to perform great deeds; to believe that together with God’s help we can and will resolve the problems which now confront us.And after all, why shouldn’t we believe that? We are Americans.

God bless you and thank you. Thank you very much.- Ronald Reagan

American greatness, personal responsibility, our individualism will trump over government tyranny and perpetrators of evil. Limited government, state (individual) rights, constitutionalism. This was what this man was about and the country supported him and followed his lead. The message was well received and practiced. He won the largest victory in American history during his re-election (and the last time the Pacific and New England coasts voted for a Republican). People believe in themselves and America back then. We even manage to break and defeat the Soviet Empire. However, we seemed to have lost our way afterwards.

Compared that to what's going on today. Everyone is now a victim of something, be it racism, sexism, homophobia, Islamophobia. We have no faith in ourselves and actually blame America for all the ills of the world. We're supporting, or at least the government is and nobody is really holding the government accountable, bigger government, bigger spending, government being the solution, not the problem that it is. We believe that by bringing down the rich, we'll enrich the poor. A position that Lincoln warned against. We no longer in believe in fighting for anything. We won't sacrifice a penny for our own self gratification. State rights are being trampled. Individuality is deemed as unwise and as the California Assembly Speaker has defined it, an act of terrorism. We're set on a path of appeasement that history has shown will be a disaster and will devastate the appeasers. We're weak minded and weak willed. We now will bow to the alter of government believing this god will provide us utopia not realizing or willing to work, earn, and make it ourselves.

The 80's, often referred to as the era of greed, was great in the growth and prosperity for the citizens of our country. Our illegal immigration problem didn't begin until then. Our beacon of freedom and opportunity was shining so bright during that era that it had a side effect we weren't prepared for: massive influx of immigration, both legal and illegal, that our demographics have completely and irrecoverably altered. Not that it's a bad thing if you're bringing the brightest and best that believes in the freedom and constitutional principles that made this country great. Compared that to the 3rd world Islamics that we import or the ignorance and illiterate peasants that are imported to us form the poorest and most dysfunctional 3rd world countries and it become clear why so many here have lost our way. Many young voters were either in diapers or not even born yet when we won the Cold War in 1989 and have no real passion or urgency against tyrannical powers. Our media have been complacent with our enemies (they did as well during Reagan's time, but never so obvious or obsequious about it). We're now living in the time of the antitheses of Reagan's principles. I fear we'll now suffer our defeated enemies fate as well. I hope I'm wrong, but I hate it when I'm right and if I'm right about this, we're finished as a free country because our citizens no longer have what it takes to make the sacrifice and to the work that is needed to regain America's greatness. I for one am not ready or willing to believe and allow that to happen.

God Bless the Gipper.

Is Democracy Terrorism?

In California I've had to put up with some stupid, insane, and corrupt statements in our political arena, but today's statement tells all of what the Democrat party thinks of democracy and the people. What's has brought up what I see as a dangerous mentality that's a major threat of our democratic republic can be demonstrated by California Assembly Speaker. Basically, the state's version of the speaker of the house. Karen Bass (D-LA) the speaker of the Assembly was asked the question, "How do you think conservative talk radio has affected the Legislature's work?" Asking one of our politicians to do work is asking an Illegal Alien to apply to come to this country legally before coming here. It's not going to happen. The leftist socialists are up on their manifesto, any problems you create, create a straw man and attack it. It's the straw man that was selected that should be an eye opener to ever American that love their Democratic republic. Her response was as follows, "The Republicans were essentially threatened and terrorized against voting for revenue. Now [some] are facing recalls. They operate under a terrorist threat: 'You vote for revenue and your career is over.' I don't know why we allow that kind of terrorism to exist. I guess it's about free speech, but it's extremely unfair." Take note who she blames for the state's woes.

Terrorized against voting for revenue. I don't think the left have any brains what so ever because she either doesn't know what she's talking about or just confessed to the Liberals true objective. Revenue is income generated from providing a good or service. Since government provides neither, they don't generate revenue. They assess taxes. They take by force by the state's police power our money and then spend them on governmental functions, or as in this state, dysfunction. It's scary that this woman believes our money is revenue, something that they earned and are entitled to. Words have meaning but the left with their moral relativism have made most words meaningless since we can assess whatever meaning we want. Bass, you don't generate revenue, you take our money by force in the form of taxes. To you a rose by any other name smell as sweet to you, but to us that have to actually work and earn the money you take from us, a skunk, or a turd, by any other name will still stink as badly.

Note who she calls terrorist here? This line should scare you because she's calling the voting public that don't support her extortion a terrorist. Californians are paying some of the highest taxes not only in the country, but the world and during an extreme recession and with unemployment approaching 14%. Now that the voting block, the will of the Californians that aren't illegals living in LA who get everything for free and elect this racist and stupid woman, are saying no, we're terrorist? She is calling the voters of California (that disagree with her) terrorists. So evil, death worshipping maniacs that fly planes into building, MS13 gangs that kill children in the street, La Raza that threatening anyone out of the race to have nothing aren't terrorist, but voters are? You see, this racist woman don't want to listen to the voters that are sick and tired of having what little they have with inflation starting to increase, wages decreasing, and our state taxes approaching the federal levels. We pay 9% sales tax and 10% income taxes, the 2nd highest to Washington state that doesn't have an income tax and Vermont that has 13% but that kicks in 350,000 where ours is at 85,000, so for the lowest 99.7%, ours are highest. We pay the highest gasoline prices, have the highest housing costs, despite the gains in the real estate, though our property tax rates are low, that's only because of Prop. 13 and misleading since taxes are based on the value of the house which are far higher than any other state. Now those of us who aren't in the beneficiary like in her district, are sick and tired paying taxes and fees. I haven't included things like car registration fees which are the highest in the country, license fee where I pay $35 for the privilege to drive, law enforcement fees for business to keep them from being robbed, what's next, a fee for breathing. Oh yea, we got cap and trade. Excuse me while we say enough is enough. In a democracy, we elect Representative to represent WE THE PEOPLE, not your greedy projects and pockets. If you refuse to do the work and will of the people that empowered you, you get voted out of office. That's democracy. According to Karen Bass, that's terrorism.

She doesn't know why that kind of terrorism is allowed to exists? I guess being held accountable by the citizen of the country is to not be tolerated. I suppose no such protests or outcry's should be tolerated. What's her plan or desire, to be suppressed like those in Iran? Or in Cuba? Or in China? This woman has complete contempt for the people of this state and should be impeached. This statement is an declaration of her desire to have our democracy suppressed. Can you imagine what the press reaction would had been if Michael Savage, Rush Limburgh, or Shawn Hannity had made such a comment. They would be in jail right now or at least joining the rest of Californians on the unemployment line. Given the corrupt and socialist state that California has become, she'll be revealed as a champion for free speech and state rights. Yes, it's free speech, those of us giving our grievance to our representative on this outrageous and irresponsible budget we have in this state. This woman was one of those that is upset because prisoners just lost their long term health care insurance. Why are they getting it while those of that are working, those that are left, are paying for it? This is free speech. Karen's is hate speech. The hatred of democracy.

She thinks it's unfair that they don't get to steal more of our money to provide for those that don't deserve it and completely collapse the state's economy. I say good for the people of California that protest to this, have our representative response to our will. We need to get this socialist, totalitarian impeached and removed from office. She finds that unfair. GOOD! It's for the people, contrary to what their messiah lacks to say.

What also disturbs me is what the liberals define as a terrorist. Anyone that disagree with them, but those that commit heinous acts of murder, extortion, and threats aren't. They have butchered the English language so badly now that words are no longer having any meaning. I wonder how soon we won't be able to communicate the serious of situation because the meaning of words have been deluded so badly, that nobody can grasp the ideas or concepts anymore? Given this horrid display by our of the state's assembly women, I wonder if anyone knows what a democratic republic is any more? Given the stupidity and ignorance of the people of California, I won't be surprised this gets a pass like so many like her have before. In that case, I know that our freedoms and democracy has died. The sad part will be most Californians will be totally oblivious to it. So sad. It will just like when Lord Sidious took over the Senate in Revenge of the Sith. This is how liberty dies, with thunderous applause.

One footnote. In typical liberal fashion, she never answered the question.

Universal feelings.

I was watching a Japanese drama (more like soap opera, but a hole is a hole is a hole I always say. Good thing it has English subtitles) with my wife. The main observation was the jealously the other chefs had towards our protagonist in the story. I was stating that to my wife and she said something I never really thought about. How that jealously is an universal feeling among the human race. Often times, there are times I have thought that feelings to certain situations are unique to myself or my culture. How silly of me. However, there are time in the political area that American in general are seemly thinking the same way. The one that comes to mind of late is the drama brewing over in South Carolina over the affair of the governor Sanford.

Men and women cheating on their spouses is as old as time. Though every generation acts as if they're discovering sex for the first time, the fact is sex has been around since humans have first set foot on Earth. It is human nature for the need and desire for intimate relationships. It's the second most powerful drive in the human psyche (self preservation is first). Though I won't go into details, I've been around the block quite a few times over my lifetime, but not while I was married to my first and definitely not while I'm married to my current one though she keep pestering me about my emotional well-being with her. The desire and attraction to others aren't going to go away even after making nuptials. However, the question becomes from my point of view, since sex invokes the same feelings physically, why have an affair when you're not going to gain anything more, physically, than you would at home?

What gets me about this affair is the media fixation on it. I remember when Slick Willie, also known as Bill Clinton, had done the same and a woman that was half his age. The media response was it was none of our business. Now that a Republican has been caught with his pants down, it's worse than the suppression of the Iranian protesters. Well, that's the overwhelming media bias for you there. The big question is why men of power tend to abuse their marital privileges because this seems more common that what goes on in the civilian sector.

Though I hear stories from those that break their bonds, what would make such people commit such acts. I find them to be contrary to my natural instincts. Biologist (my wife is one) believe it's just nature to spread the gene pool as much as possible. Would explain my wife's constant fixation on am I QUITE satisfied with her. However, there are animals that are monogamous in nature, penguins, primates, whales, dolphins just to name a few. In fact, the higher up the evolutionary chain you are, the more monogamous the species are. So since man, so I think there are those that differ on the opinion, is the highest, so with one of God's greatest gifts to mankind that should be guarded, why doesn't one stay monogamous as a specie? It seems it comes from the one thing that separates us from the animals: reasoning. Reasoning, the ability to reason and make choices is the main difference and come with great responsibility. A trait that is abused all too often, hate, murder, theft, infidelity, etc. Things that occur in nature in abundance, but we're not animals. We have a choice. Why choose a path that doesn't really gain anything of value?

The biggest reason I've been able to observed is one of the partners will stop treating the other with any respect. Instead of being a life partner, it becomes a means to an end to gain selfish ambitions. Though I'll get a lot of nasty responses for this but the heck with my enemies. The feminist movement have done so much to destroy first femininity in women that they become so undesirable that men will flock away from them. When Bill Clinton started is affairs, my first response was look at what he's married to. Hilary is a woman that everything is a means to an end. Including her marriage. Every wonder why they only had one child? I don't think because she was on birth control, but she was the birth control. The feminist movement have made intimate relationships a battleground in the war for power. Everything by feminist groups is about power. Money, sex, politics it's all about empowerment over men. When sex is used as a weapon, is it really a wonder men stray away from someone that used it for intimacy? Though sex is the same physically, it isn't emotionally. The feelings one has for their partner will make a HUGE difference in the emotionally element. A lesson I learned from my second wife and seems for her as well. Makes her a bit more paranoid because she sure doesn't want to lose that emotional bond. Heck, my divorce was devastating enough and I wasn't nearly bonded as I am to my current one, so I sure don't want to go through that again 10 fold emotionally. Since I have a wife that isn't into emotional power over me, our intimacy have far more emotional return.

The other element from the feminist movement is, as I've written many times before, is the demasulation of men. What was once revered is now despised. Matters, support, chivalry. These are traits that men have naturally to please their ladies and gain that intimacy that we crave. Men are simple creatures, feed us, shelter us, and love us and we're happy. Women are far more complex emotionally. Add the anger, disdain, and power hunger that the feminist movement have instilled and intimacy becomes a battleground that men rather avoid. When I was searching for another wife, I wanted someone educated, but an educated American meant someone that's been put through the feminazi curriculum. So that means, I would have to look outside the country which I did. Oh, I'll hear the battle cries from the feminazi, but I cared what they thought, I would be in another miserable marriage. You see, you can't have a war in the home and have intimacy. Judging how Mrs. Sanford has been reacting, I can see that there's no love in that mansion. A house but not a home. Don't give me she's hurting over the affair, I'll wager she was cold and indifferent to him long before the affair happened.

Now there were infidelity before the feminazi movement. As with the feminist movement, power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Seems with power comes privileges. Privileges that often invites abuse. Sex seems to be one of them. Why, when there's no emotional reward, do men of power abuse that power? That one I wish I knew. I believe it's an ego booster. The one in power can have whatever woman he can then he must be extremely masculine. Whatever. It's a lot of thing. Biological need but there's no intimacy and no emotional reward. Just the same ole same old that brings no real satisfaction. Like a drug addiction, one gets in the habit that they need the next fixed not because it feels good, but to keep from feeling bad. Like in the Philippines, where infidelity is rampage because divorce is illegal, one senator had 12 mistresses and 86 children. That man has one big ego boost. It's claimed he loves them all, but does he even know the names of a dozen of his children? How about his mistresses? Does he know their dreams and desires? Does he even remember the births of his clan? I remember mine and that was from a woman that bumped heads with me.

The wrap, some people will do the wrong thing because it gratifies the I want now attitude, but men for the most part are simple. Be good to us, we're return the favor. With the war of the sexes in full force in the American culture, love and intimacy often take a back seat and that's the main reason for infidelity. Given how cold women have become in our culture, say the likes of Hilary or Mrs. Sanford, with the privilege and temptation that comes with acquisition of power, it become easier and easier for men to overcome their nature desire to be intimate and seek biological fulfillment. Perhaps gaining more intimacy from the "other woman" because they're competing with the wife. As long as love remains a battlefield and a battle over empowerment, stories like Clinton and Sanford are going to continue. The biggest difference will be the media bias in spinning them.

The Totalitarian's Best Friend.

If you thought I was going to give tribute to Michael Jackson, well, you would be wrong. The man was just a singer that, true, did have several hit albums and songs, but so what? Did he ever saved a life, feed a village, or have the world take a step for world peace? No. In fact, he was a freak that had some strange habits and peculation for children. The man was a great entertainer (and I find that debatable) but nothing more.

This is more of the lame stream media's much ado about nothing covering up the more serious events going on in the world and the complete failure of the current administration that is making the last one, a failure in of itself, looking like sheer genius in comparison. We got not one, but two insane lunatics, one with nukes that the US gave the means for him to create threatening our own solid with nuclear annihilation, and another working on getting them that believes in creating the end of the world and stealing elections being completely white washed. In fact, they're screaming louder because they don't like the lack of attention. However, this pales compared to the largest tax increase in world history being voted on as I write: The Cap and Trade bill.

This is by far one of the most serious bill in American history. This bill will allow the government to tax, though they call it a credit, and basically own the production of energy production in the US. Given how they want to regulate the carbon emission over what's being more and more proven a fraud over global warming, they're going to have more control and regulation over the US economy. Add the industries that already that's been nationalized and we're heading into some serious trouble here. This bill alone can bring the GDP of the us down 2.5% a year it's enacted. I like you liberals out there explain to me how decreasing the economy 2.5% a year while we're in the worse recession since the Depression with employment at 9.4% and increasing losing 2.5% of the GDP is going to improve the economy or lower unemployment?

What's worse, this has all the earmarks of the National Economy Department. Don't know what that is? That was a Branch of the executive branch of the Nazi party that regulated energy and economic resources. This bill has such powers involved. You want to relay on the government to tell who can get what resources or entitled to how much energy they can use? You think anyone that disagree with the messiah won't have their livelihood impeded or energy cut off? This is how dictators control their population. Stalin did it, Mao did it, Hitler did it, Castro did it. I'm not speaking theories here, I'm speaking historical facts. Yet none of this is being debated. In fact it's being hushed, rushed, and crammed down our throats. If these principals and science is so strong and factual as the supporters say, then why are they rushing and hushing this?

The wrap is this has been done before and with terrible consequences for the civilians. It increased the power and control of the government and oppression of the people. Bills that are rushed in rarely meet with good and/or positive results. Ignorance isn't bliss, it's the totalitarian's best friend. But hey, we're all up to date in the worship and history of Michael Jackson. After all, the contribution of a freakiest singer is far more important of the hijacking of the economy by power crazy minions.

The illness of socialized medicine.

There's a lot of comments about BO's proposed universal health care. By better terms, socialized medicine. This subject is closer to me not only I have the same issues and concerns as well as anyone else. Heart disease runs in my family and it can hit me without me knowing what hit me if I'm not careful. However, that's not the part I'm most concerned about. My wife is a medical school graduate. Her career goals keeps facilitating because we don't know where the medical industry is going. We have concern about some ethical issues regarding the pharmaceuticals here as well. The biggest issue is the socialization. I will be the deathbed of my wife's desire to becoming a doctor.

With socialized medicine, comes bureaucracy. Our current system is far from perfect and does need reform. The biggest is the free care that illegals get accounting for nearly 50% of the costs. Bureaucrats are the biggest reason why we have the headaches we currently have. HMO accountants are the other. We seem to want it all, but don't want to pay for it. The reason the system needs reform right now is because we have a semi-socialized medicine as it is right now. Giving medicine to the non-productive at the cost of the productive. Right now, at least the productive can purchase some decent care. Forcing the taxpayers, like those in Canada, is going to exasperate things worse.

Let's take a look at what we do know with what we have right now. Think of the DMV, the Post Office, and VA are merged to provide medical care. Long waits, rationing, and poor care. VA is government controlled and the scandals that come from that organization is shameful. The government claims that improvements are going to be made, but never do. I'm going to just use this model as being the government model that will be emulated and with good reason. The scandals happen for a reason. Government is terrible at providing services to their own people. That's why they have special health insurance in the private sector. Canada is so bad that the rich comes here for medical treatment over the year wait and the rationing.

We tend to think the government is an unlimited supply of money. That the government can print what they don't have from the taxpayers. That doesn't work because of inflation. The costs will only skyrocket since the government never audits their books or clamp down on the fraud that are perpetrated against them. Like I said, we think they're have an endless supply of money. When things are given to people for nothing one things always follows: more demand than expected. When no costs are involved, people tend to go overboard on the product or services. Take a look at the housing market when the prices and financing didn't required any capital from the home buyer. The market overheated to the point that it melted. The same will happen with health care. Canada's biggest headache is the hypochondriacs. Since it costs them nothing, they will go through the system again and again and again til someone, mainly a quack, will finally give them what they want and treat an non-existing problem. Illegals use the ER for any little inconvenience. A sniffle, to the ER, a slight cough from allergies, to the ER, get knocked up and need to punch out the child so they can become an anchor baby, to the ER. Get the picture? Free care will invite the nut jobs or the abusers to overuse the system.

The second will be price control. Ask anyone in New York what rent control did for them. Not only did the rent skyrocket, but scarcity as well. When a private owner invests in property, they access their risk and determine what rate of return they're going to accept. If that goal can't be met, they're not going to invest. The results is high rents, low quality, rotting buildings and low vacancy rates. Now add the government that doesn't invest for an economic return, but a political return. So if a socialist don't like a conservative, they can be denied service for whatever reason and if you think I'm exaggerating, ask all those GM dealers that lost their dealerships. They all have one thing in common. They're all Republicans (and accounted for 80% of the total profitable dealerships). Liberals and socialist are the nastiest, meanest, and backstabbing people in the country. You want your health care to rely on the decision that these people? If so, you're sicker than I thought.

When government gets involved, the first thing to go is individual choice. With the current system you have a choice who to see and what services you can have. If you don't like a doctor or feel that a treatment or procedure isn't necessary, you have a choice. Will that be the case if the government is making the decisions? Can they even make it in time? Government is slow, inefficient while the market reacts in real time. Government, especially the one in power right now, is oppose to individual choice. History have shown, once a government takes a choice away from their citizens, they never return it. Not without a major uprising.

The next big headache that will result will be scarcity of doctors. Given the legal headaches, mainly created by lawyers that write the laws so they can profit from them, it's difficult to get anyone to go into the medical profession. People see riches in the profession, but that's slowly declining and malpractice insurance is so high, as much as a 3rd of the total costs. The costs are so high as it is, that it takes a doctor on average, 23 years to pay their student loans. Now the government wants to control costs and they're already regulating the pay that financial execs, so it's no leap they'll do the same in the medical profession. Given the dollar figure they're giving in the financial sector, most doctors will make less, after expenses in the medical practice and taxes, will be less than the average income earner. So, a person is going to go to school for 10 years, go hundreds of thousands in debt going to medical school so they can make as much as a dishwasher? I don't think so. It's a problem in Canada, Cuba, and Russia and it will be the same, if not worse because of the lawsuits that can follow and you can't sue the government (unless you're an illegal).

This will make the care like those in VA hospital that don't sterilized, give poor care, have incompetent doctors because a doctor that's worth a damn can do way better in the private sector than in the government system. Scarcity of medical supplies will increase to cut on those costs, and eventually, care will have to be rationed. The government will decided who should get what. Only have to look at what's going with GM to see that's happening. You're a smoker, no care you poisoned yourself, overweight, no care you got yourself like that so now pay the price, a conservative, no care you're evil and stupid and need to die. Get the idea?

Socialized medicine has been a disaster everywhere it's been tried. Margret Thatcher begged, BEGGED, that America doesn't follow the path England made back in 1990 before she left office. She knew first hand what socialized medicine does and disintegrate the system and England has been trying to reverse course, but once the teeth of socialism get into the flesh of the political and economic body, like a pit bull, it doesn't let go until the jaws have completely clamp down and devourer the flesh. The same here. Not only will universal health care not make the current system healthy again, but will likely make it sicker til it dies completely.

How much more of North Korea are we going to take?

The People's Republic of North Korea (cough, cough) is making their boldest and most dangerous threat since going nuclear 3 years ago. Now they're threaten us with nuclear annihilation if we, the US, stop and inspect their ships in response to the recent UN sanctions. I would normally say it will be interesting to see how our President will react, but I know the answer already since he has a infraction for dictators. He'll do the usual whining and crying to the UN, the UN will give even more harsh words to North Korea and North Korea will make more threats. In the end, the UN will show it's impotent and BO gets to let one of his breatherns more power on the international scene. The real players, as stated before, will be Japan and China.

North Korea threat of the US is provoking a war is a bunch of propaganda. Even by Kerry's so called "International test" we would be in our right to inspect and fight the North Koreans should they follow through with their threat. The problem is BO has no intentions of stopping Jon-Il. He's no friend of Japan or South Korea since they're democracies, not dictatorships. He's just stall with the UN and give us a bunch of BS speeches or distract us with health care. I fear of North Korea attacked South Korea, he'll not want to appear to interfering with Korean affairs like in Iran even though he takes credit for inspiring the democratic freedom fighters, though he really supports the Hitler of Iran.

Japan is the country that's going to be the most threatened by North Korea's action. The Japanese and Korean have a long history of antagonism and enslavement (mostly by Japan) and have no love between them. It's much like the Palestinians vs. Israel only they don't share a common border. North Korea doesn't really want to annihilate South Korea. She needs her man power and resources to continue her fight against Japan and to support her main ally: China. This will pose a major nuclear threat to Japan and this country knows all to well about the consequences of a nuclear horror. I find it impossible that they are going to sit while North Korea continue with the means to level their cities. They've gone through that twice in the past and there's no way they're going to allow it to happen again.

What is galling me is he's threaten the US and we're just sitting around with our thumbs up our rear ends. This man is threatening to make BO's birth home to glow in the dark (ok, he really wasn't born there, but by his lie he was) and he has absolutely no concern about the annihilation of his birth home. We all know that North Korea doesn't have the means to carry out their threat against us (yet). It is clear that they will should they get the means and so far, with support of the UN and passage of the "International Test", we're still doing nothing. Just cowering in the corner in the fetal position say let's talk about it. What's left to talk about? They're not interested, they're going to do whatever they want and they're going to as long as we continue to have a Laissez-faire attitude about it. The one day, we will find out the hard way that America's enemies, be it Muslim, Cuban, North Korean, China, or Russia, will annihilate us without hesitation and we will have nobody but ourselves to blame.

Perez's lesson about the 1st Amendment.

Seems over the weekend, Perez Hilton got a lesson that he didn't care for. The results was a much needed and earned punched in the eye. What this man did to Miss California was bad enough, but the hypocrisy that came after this incident demand retribution. Seems now Hilton is on YouTube crying like the whiny baby that he is condemning the tour manager of the Black Eyes Peas over a tirade from entries from his blog (why anyone would read what this monstrosity has to say is beyond me) he had about the lack of respect he has for the band. Will.I.Am, the leader of the Black Eye Peas, tired and want nothing associated with this vile man, asked him to stop posting about the band on his site. Hilton's response, which was done in person, was to say he didn't have to respect him, the group and basically called the women, Fergie, a fugly bitch and Will.I.Am a faggot. Well, after that hate filled display of complete immaturity, the tour manager punched him in the eye. No wonder the Black Eye Peas love that boom boom pow. In this case, so do I.

First lesson for Hilton that he definitely didn't learn as he was whining like a two year old in his YouTube video: the First Amendment guarantees the right to free speech. It does guarantee a receptive audience. That's the main gripe this man had about the whole thing. That the band and their manager didn't accept his chastise . Well, just because you can say it doesn't mean anyone has to listen to it or accept it. Something BO doesn't get either and why he and people like Hilton are such a threat as Hilton demonstrated over the beauty pageant escapades. We don't have to like or accept what you say. Hilton was saying that the band violated his rights by not accepting him or his attitude. You may have a lawsuit against the band, but not a civil rights violation.

Second lesson he failed to learn. With freedom comes responsibility. That was obvious from the Miss USA contest. He did every irresponsible action to punish Miss California for not being receptive of his lifestyle and why I feel that the Homosexual mafia is the biggest danger behind the Socialists. They will not tolerate anyone that doesn't believe as they do that their behavior is normal and moral. Like the Socialist that infest the Obama Administration, they feel anyone that disagree with them are morally wrong and need to be silenced. They have a policy of "shut up" for dissents. Not much different from what the Allatolas are doing in Iran. They're just not using guns yet, but should they get the NSF, then they will. Basically, if you make a statement, then there are going to be consequences, as the Iranians found out. The consequences may be a backlash. If you act irresponsibly, you will get irresponsible reactions. Getting punched for making hateful comments isn't all that unexpected, but for this homonazi, it was completely unexpected and now he wants blood.

See, freedom comes with responsibility. If you own a gun, you're responsible, or should be a beef I have with the NRA on some issues, for the misuse of that weapon. We have freedom of the press as well, but it doesn't give us the right to slander or libel anyone. That's irresponsible, but it's going on all the time in our society with the media and many blogs and websites. There are gossip site that have people anonymously make posts that say evil, cruel, and often unsubstantiated statement that have ruined lives. Yet these sites are up because of freedom of speech. Actually, they're up IN SPITE of freedom of speech. We have the right to private property, but that doesn't give me the right to make a dirty bomb that can kill millions either on that property.

Hilton still doesn't get it. He thinks he's a victim of bigotry. As for the punch, he's a victim of bigotry all right. His own. In his verbal rhetoric, he degrades Fergie as being something of an unattractive women. I've seen her and using my freedom of speech and responsibly. If he find Fergie of the Black Eyes Peas as being unattractive, then he has no right judging a beauty contest in the first place. It also shows, in my opinion, how crazy and mentally deranged he is and it gots to make me wonder if too many homosexuals are just mentally eccentric. Take what you will of that opinion. One thing I know. I'll take responsibility for it. More than I can say about Perez Hilton who proved that he can dish it out, but can't take it.

Top Dumb Criminals.

I thought I step away from the world of political intrigue and have a light posting. The following are my personal top 5 stupidest or dumbest criminal stories I've accumulated over the years. Now everyone will know I have a sense of humor and isn't all serious all the time. Afterwards, you'll understand a detective that once told me, "Most criminals are stupid and we thank God for that."

#5, Would you like some butter to go with that?

A man decided that he would break into a seafood restaurant during the middle of the night after closing hours. During which, he stole the day's receipts. However, the larceny of a few thousands dollars wasn't enough for this man. He decided he wanted to have a bit of a late night snack as well. Hey, I know about those munchies and perhaps the motive in this case behind the robbery. So he chows down on 11 (THAT'S ELEVEN!!) lobsters. After which he downed it all with a bottle of white wine. I've learned a long time ago alcohol mixed with anything usually don't have good endings and neither did this one. The man promptly fell asleep where the morning crew found him and called the police who awoken the man to his shock of being arrested. Perhaps he should have had the red wine. Next time, order the clam chowder dude.

#4, Man, I just have to have a smoke.

Sheriff's deputies arrested a Camden County inmate trying to sneak back into jail. Usually when one escape they STAY OUT of jail, but not this nimrod. The sheriff said that the inmate had broken out of the jail, strolled to a nearby convenience store where he broke in and stole about 14 packs of cigarettes. That's money in prison, isn't it??? The inmate then tried to sneak back into the jail with the cigarettes. Authorities said at first thought they had separate incidents -- a jailbreak and a burglary. The jailbreak was discovered when a door was found unlocked. The inmate was being held on charges of forgery, identity fraud, possession of cocaine with intent to sell, obstruction of an officer and traffic violations. Now he'll also face an escape charge. To make it a double whammy. His crime wouldn't had gone undetected for long had he not got caught trying to break back in. I guess you can add the crime of stupidity as well because the facility is a smoke free facility.

#3, Can I apply for Federal Prison.

When one commits a crime, they usually make themselves anonymous. Someone should had told this lady criminal (the only lady on the list). A woman was applying for a home loan when the bank was receiving a shipment of money. As the bank executive and the amour guards left to obtain the next segment of the shipment, the lady decided that she rather have one of those special sub prime loans. Zero percent interest with no payments ever. She walked in the vault and helped herself to $100,000 and promptly walked out the bank without anyone noticing. Frankly, I don't who was dumber, the criminal in this case or the employees in the bank not noticing a woman came in with no money and walks out with $100,000. Cash only business, heh? Well, the authorities would have had no clue of the woman's identity had she not left her loan application behind. . . with her name, address and social security number. She was picked up and arrested two hours later. Too bad. How badly responsible people got robbed during the financial meltdown, she would had profited better had she took the loan.

#2, Have gun will travel.

A man entered a convenience store and held the cashier at gun point asking for the money in the register and safe. The register was fine, but the money in the safe proved to be too much for this thief to handle. So he put his gun on the counter, took the money and ran out the door. Not much of a story so far, but wait. Good things come to those that wait, and in this case, the store owner. An hour after the robbery, the policed we finishing up taking the report when the . . . you guessed it, the robber came walking into the store. He wanted to know if he could get his gun back. The police promptly arrested him. I would say use be careful with that gun, you could hurt yourself to the robber, but I don't think he could hit anything of importance because there's no working brain cells in that head of his.

#1, Would you like to make a donation with that?

Many time I struggle between #1 and #2 over which is dumber, but this one has to take the cake. A man enters a convenience store pretending he wants to buy something. He goes to the counter and hands the cashier a $20 bill. As the cashier opens the register to give the man his change, the man quickly grabs the money into his hand and darts out of the store stealing a total of $15 from the register. Meanwhile, he left his $20 bill behind. This is #1 because it's the only time I've known of a criminal to successfully steal and be in the negative. I guess crime really doesn't pay. Does this count as an armed donation. Well, since no gun was used, just a dysfunctional brain, I guess not.

So there you have, it. If you have some dumb criminal story to share, please do. It's quite comical what the most ignorance and dumbest will come up with to get themselves caught.

UPDATE: This came in on Saturday from Handle on the Law and this was too much. This comes in a tie for 2nd place.

T-2nd. You should see my Twitter Account.

A man had committed a bank robbery and unlike most bank robbers, he actually got away with the cash. Now 89% of bank robbers get caught while doing the robbery. Dectetives place them as the class of criminals that are often the dumbest. Like wearing a hood to hide their identity and while leaving and in front of the security camera, take the mask off for everyone to see. This criminal takes it one step better. This dumbass was so proud of getting away with bank robbery that he actually posted it on his Facebook account. He even took pictures on his cell phone during the robbery to show all his homies. Since Facebook is a public domain, a search warrant isn't needed to use in a court of law. In this case, it served as a confession with photo evidence for the police and DA. Not only that, it had the man's name and address where he was prompty picked up with the stolen loot. His Facebook confession is going to allowed to be used in his trial. Maybe he should had used a Linkin account instead. Naa, just subscribed to using his brain.

Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there. Frankly, Father's Day's leaves me with a bit of ambitiousness because things didn't work out well with my biological father. In fact, I call him the sperm donor with good reason. When I learned to the reason why he walked out of my life when I was 4 years old with the memory of my mother sobbing at nights, why I didn't have a daddy while everyone else did, and the taunting I took over the years, I realized that he did me and my brother a favor by leaving. The man was a drunkard, a stoner, an abuser, and a womanizer and I fear how I would had turned out if he had stayed. At the age of 15, I took the pain that this loser brought upon and learned a lesson that so few people ever learn: How not to be something. In this case, how NOT to be a father. Given what my children tried to do for me today given the circumstances that even impressed my ex-wife that I overcame and did the right thing when it wasn't either convenience or advantageous to do.

This leads to two message given by a couple of people that I normally wouldn't quote or give any credence to, but unlike liberals, I will give credit, even though I don't care for the person. The first is to Oprah. Though for the most part she hates men, defines us as evil, abusive, unnecessary, et al, in the past, she had a segment about the influence of fathers in 3 situations. Though none of them was a husband-wife couple (no real surprise there), the lesson and final message is worthy of being noted, even if it wasn't the ideal situation. One had to do with a single father raising his son after his mother died, two gay men raising 7 children from Asia, and a single mother who lost her husband in Iraq (a month before his tour was over, that sucked man!) sharing the journal that he left for their son in case he died fighting for us. Though I don't agree with one of the living arrangement, the men, for once were portrayed as heroes and integral in the development and raising of the children. How they bring the structure and discipline to the household and show they're just as capable of showing love for their children as their mothers (or mothers if one was in the picture) are capable of. Coming from Oprah, I was nearly floored.

The other is from Obama. One of the terrible social consequences that plagues the African American communities is the lack of a father in the home. 70% of children in African Americans homes are born illegitimate. That's 7 out of 10 that the parents don't even regard each other as worthy to even marry before bringing a child that they create into this world. That's sad and destructive. Too many are appealed to the feeling of belonging with gangs. Find strength in anger, violence and hate. Is it a coincidence that an overwhelming number are to households lacking a father figure? Obama sensed that is the case when his speech empathized the need for the men to respect and marry the women that they have these babies with. Coming from a man that finds his own grandchildren a punishment to his daughters, it does say something about his belief that children are best served with both parents in the household. It only took 5 months, but I finally found a common ground with Obama that for one day I can say we're united on. Well, other than taking out those 3 pirates. I found that Obama speech is one change and hope that this country need, especially for the African American inter-city youths. If they listen to this one message, perhaps one of the traits that leads to the destructive paths in the communities that suffer from extreme poverty and the radical idealism that follows, can start to be broken.

In the end, learning from what not to do from my father has made me a good one, or at least a decent one. Despite everything showing that I would be another statistic, another victim in the culture war, I kept the damage to a minimum and earned the love and respect of my children. How many fathers, especially liberal fathers, can make that claim? Respect the mother (even when she's wronged you) because father's have a great deal of power in the moral and character development of our future citizens. We all have dreams of how our family will development and it's that dream that gives up the strength to develop and earn the love and raise our children with good morals, sense, and character. A dream that brings out a special desire to better ourselves and those we love as Oprah had learned from the man that sacrificed his life for our freedom and his son.

The dangers of the NSF and why Obama Supporters are wrong.

A report is out at the Boston Globe from a reporter that is in the middle of the fight in Tehran. Basically, we're getting details from someone right at the source. Not from speculation or hearsay, but from an actual person testifying to what they did and see for themselves. Evidence that would be acceptable in a court of law. As I read the article, two things stood out to me. The first is who's doing all the dirty work for the Mullahs and the Hitler of Iran. The other were from the comment sections. Both showing either their stupidity, bigotry, or ignorance.

The first part of this blog is notice that who were doing the dirty work of the illegitimate government, a truly illegitimate government, not one that won the recount and had the losing side crying foul even afterwards, every independent agency confirmed the winner had indeed won and having them cry sour grapes. A group of civilian security forces are the ones with the batons, water hoses, and rubber bullets. They're the ones doing the beating, spraying, and shooting of the protesters who had their election truly stolen from them. These are the ones that are enforcing the oppression by the Mullahs and their so called President. They have access to the military and their weaponry and it will be a matter of time before they start using them. However, the Iranian civilians are still coming out. They taste freedom, know the price and are willing to pay for it.

Now compare this to one of Obama's promises to establish a National Security Forces that is just as well funded and armed as the military since he has no faith in the military. This force, like the one in Iran, only answer to the President. Basically, this is a civilian security force for the President, not for the people which the President, as Commander in Chief, is empowered to use for the protection of the people of the United States. By having a civilian force that only answer to him, it will invite abuse just like those in Iran. A person with that kind of power as history shown is too prone to abuse it. Abuse it all in the name of restoring order or personal protection. The chat of a dictator as we see going on in Iran right now. Do we want to risk a person to have that kind of power, even here in the United States?

The second part is those who are commenting that Obama is doing the right thing by taking no stance. First, by taking no stance, he's taken one in favor of the President and Mullahs. He's supporting them in their oppression of their own people. As he has with all the other dictators around the world, he's given his seal of approval because he has no opposition to their goals or tactics.

The part that galls me is the supporters showing their complete ignorance of history. They believe BO is being wise by non-action because the rebels don't want to be associated to the US. This not shows their ignorance, but their hatred of America as well. Iran, which is Persian for Assyrian, have been pro West since the Persians regained their homeland from the Muslim. They are enemies of the Sunni Muslim and the only true ally they have is the Western world. They have historically been pro Western, and the people have been mainly pro west. They desire our products, they tend to wear western clothes (find another Muslim nation that does that without penalty of death), intercept our western tv shows and radio broadcasts. To day that they want no association with America shows a lack of historical knowledge.

This wasn't the case after the first Gulf war when the Persian Shiites rebelled against Saddam begging for US aid in overthrowing the government. Bush senior, like BO, didn't want to get involved and the rebellion was crushed. Had we aided them then, we would had gained an ally with the Shiites in Iraq, despite their radical Islamic views, but Bush senior felt undermining Iraq would had made Iran too big of a threat.

To show more of their ignorance, they're claiming if we aid the rebel, it will play into the Islamo-fascist hands by claiming the unrest is being cause by Western influence. They don't know their enemy. Since these rebels are winning so far, the Mullahs and the President are claiming we are involved dispite BO's statement anyways. I'll wager they'll soon say the CIA or some other covert organization was behind the uprising. Truth doesn't matter to these people, just as it doesn't matter to the left here, so they will lie to empower their position. BO's pacific stance will only embolden them to crush this rebellion like Hussein did in 1992. The big difference and hopefully it will be enough is the civilians have to know the US won't get involved because they didn't for their Iraqi brothers and put that in their calculus. If so, the rebels may have a battle plan that will see this regime topple and a major threat removed. May still have someone anti-American and Israel, but is responsive to their people. One that isn't so eager to get the bomb and start a war that can engulf the entire world. As it stands right now, there are too many stupid and/or ignorant people in America to realize and support those that are willing to avoid this disaster. Pray that right powers over wrong in this struggle. As I've just seen, BO supporters sure aren't.

The price of failure.

When BO was elected, all I heard was how the US is finally going to go on the righteous path and peace was finally going to be restored in the world. How all the ills that America caused will finally be righted. How the Constitution was finally be put back together after Bush ripped it to shreds during his eight years. Never mind anyone could tell me how this messiah was going to accomplish this other than to say we finally will have change and hope. What changes and hope for what? The details was lacking. The liberals had so much blind faith in this man, they never conceived the possibility, much less the price, of his failure. So far, it's only been 5 1/2 months, and what I'm seeing isn't inspiring, optimistic, or bringing about any changes or hope.

First this change they bragged about. The change away from the polices of George Bush, one of the worse Presidents and biggest traitor to conservative causes and yet he was hated by the left, haven't not only had a reverse of course, but have been Bush on steroids. We're increasing the troops in Afghanistan, we're pulling out of Iraq, but nothing that wasn't in place before Bush left, letting North Korea and Iran continue with their nuclear program. Spending increased beyond the human imagination, and government growing by leap and bounds. All these policies were established by Bush and true conservatives criticized him for it as well as the left. Now that the left is in power, they're not only putting Bush's policies on steroids, but no longer find them destructive to the country.

What has been the price of this change and hope? North Korea is more bold and dangerous. They're now threatening nuclear war with South Korea, Japan, and the US. Given how weak BO has been towards dictators, in fact friendly towards them, they have nothing to fear from us. They know BO is weak and will throw a lot of harsh words, but will do nothing to stop them. The end results that they're seeking and so far gaining, is to be able threaten the South Koreans, Japanese, and the Western US and be able to black mail us. So far, their plan is going well.

Iran is coming closer and closer to the bomb themselves. Like their North Korean brethren, they do not fear the spineless US. In fact, we can't get out of that region fast enough in Iraq. Their speed boats are constantly harassing our ships and shipping in the area with Iran constantly threatening our shipping in the Gulf. With the US showing no will to confront and stop them, why shouldn't they? Now that the people are realizing how much trouble they're in, their economy going up in smoke, and the threat of an apocalypse, they're fighting back because they know the US isn't going to help them. BO has shown that with his stupid and pathetic excuse of not meddling in Iranian affairs. Just what the dictator ordered. The question will become will the Iranian people be able to do what we're not willing to: depose this evil dictator. It's sad we have the most powerful military in the world and the "hope" of peace in the region is hanging on unarmed civilians in Iran.

Europe think we're a joke as they mock this man while booing him for not being left enough. Israel is being asked to have themselves castrated. Netanyahu played a shrew hand by doing the unexpected by willing to cave but with conditions, which now have been rejected, that he knew they would reject and show themselves for the terrorists that they are: their right to exist and protection against attacks. Hamas have in their charter the destruction of the Jewist state and will never yield. In fact, not only did they reject it, but they tried to assassinate their biggest ally, Jimmy Carter. Yet the weak brained left are still on their side and trying to get gains for them. I don't about you, but if someone tries to kill me, I don't think we're on the same page or will come to an agreement.

Dictators all over the world are getting more bold. Sri Larka had slaughtered hundreds of their Christian civilians in their so called civil war. Russia and China are threatening our currency by attempting to replace the dollar as the world standard. Castro has been lifted from a ban that will allow us to lift the embargo that was established by JFK of all people. I guess JFK was wrong. Chavez is BO big buddy giving violent communist revolutionary books and nobody says anything about it. Totalitarianism is making a huge comeback all over the world.

Seems the only ones that are gaining the hope and change promised by the failures of BO's policies so far in foreign affairs are the changes that is allowing dictators hope they can expand and grow their powers. The change that gives hope for radical Islamic that they can gain more power and say in the world Arena by the reaction of those in Turkey and the fact Hamas and The Islamic Brotherhood, both banned in Egypt, being invited and present during his Cairo speech. The price of this failure is alarming and if allowed to continue, will see a threat and a holocaust around the world as never seen in world history. I would think to reasonable people, this price is just too high to be allowed to continue. So far, the only people to realize this so far are the Iranian civilians.

The Iranians get it. Americans don't.

Seem everyone is putting in their two cents about the events going on in Iran. I'm not going to be any different. There's a very good reason why, especially in the blog sphere, that this big news: it's truly about democracy. As our media, like our supposedly spineless President, is all too willing to downplay the demonstrations in Iran and the response by their Hitler, those of us on the blog sphere, from what I'm starting to get from other postings, are seeing this for what it really is: the beginning of the fight to restore democracy in the world.

Iran just had an election that was about as fair as one of those wrestling matches by the WWF. You know the one with the real short guy about 220 pounds and 5'5" against the 6'7" 450 pounder. Or as fair as a debate from the White House with ABC. This election was fixed from the get go. Dictators don't believe in elections. They don't believe in the will or the wisdom of the people. That's why they're dictators. That's what makes a dictator a dictator. So what's a dictator to do during the election. Rig it so that not only is he the winner, but by at least 90% to show how he has more support than those in democratic countries. However, how it was done was sloppy and obvious. The destruction of 4 million ballots was the prime motivation in the recent outcry.

The people of Iran have shown they no longer are going to tolerate this dictator or his Imams anymore. It's not easy for me to admit I'm wrong, but these demonstration have proven, at least by the Muslims in Iran, that I'm wrong that the people support the murderous regimes. As in this case, they want him and his nuke happy Imam out. This show that the people of Iran, at least quite a few million of them, are willing to risk life and limb to show their displeasure and desire to no longer support this insane, suicidal lunatic. Here, in a country where this is no freedom of speech, freedom of the press, or the rights to bare arms, unless you're the government, out in force demonstrating their will and desire. The people of Iran get it. They know what freedom is and what the price is and willing to pay it to rid of themselves of this dictator. After several dozens, by official reports before the blackout by Iran, have been killed over it and yet the next day, they're still out. Many have been beaten and arrested. Several members of the Republican Guard have been arrested, show the well pampered and equipped military unit is showing signs of opposition which can lead to a revolution like in Romania when the military joined the rebellion. Now all they need is some support and a major world threat can be thwarted as well as freedom can shine from another country, a country in the Middle East no less.

However, Americans again show that we don't get it. BO made his lame excuse of not wise to appear meddling in Iranian affairs. How pathetic. The media has bought it hook, line, and sinker. Many in the public are buying it as well. It comes as no shock because a lot of what happened in Iran has been going on here for decades. Especially here in California where Diane Fienstien continues to win re-election despite the evidence of voter fraud. We have 3 million voters that are illegal aliens, dead, invalids, out of state, or pets that continue to show up on voter registration rolls and vote. In a few counties in the last election, she got more votes than the total number of registered voters. Huffington, the last person to run against her found 150,000 such votes in three days showing election fraud was taking place. The results? Since she won by 300,000, she still won despite the votes. This was from what he was able to find and prove in just 3 days. Since no real investigation went on, as with ACORN and their thugs at voting polls with batons, irregularities in the voter registration and evidence of multiple voting as one man admitted on the air, and 3 places confirmed, that he voted for BO 7 times.

What has been the results of this evidence and incidences? Not a peep. No outcry from the public, no investigation into the "alleged" fraud, no news report of the suspicions by the media. Nothing. Back to who's going to win on American Idol. We have a man who isn't qualified to be President as required in Article 2 in the Constitution as he's never produced his original birth certificate and still hasn't. We have elections being stolen from the people in dozens of districts and we are totally apathetic to the whole thing. We seem to think either our freedoms are so solid that no tyrant can possibly take them away or we need to have more control in our lives because freedom is something most of us can't seem to handle. Either way, we're going to lose our country. Liberty will die and with thunderous applause as in the Revenge of the Sith as those around us won't even be aware of what we lost.

The Iranians are fighting for the life of a republic in their country. They are fighting to be free of a suicidal lunatic. Something the Germans refused to do and we don't want to meddle in. BO is all too willing to meddle in Israeli affairs, Palestinian affairs (and where did we get for it, they tried to assassinate Carter, their best friend), South Korean affairs and they're being threaten with nuclear annihilation, but he won't meddle with dictator. And yet, we Americans are saying nothing. BO is showing himself to be on the side of the dictators: Castro, Chavez, the leader of Iran. Perhaps the reason he doesn't meddle because he doesn't want the freedom fighters to win. Regardless, if we settle for this, then we will have the government we deserved and right now, that's not much of one at all. Fight the good fight Persian freedom fighters. We, in America, may need you to free us someday.

Media lapdog!

I seem to keep saying this, but just when I think this government can't get any bolder, it does. This time with the help of the media. Seems that ABC is now under the lock and key of the Obama White House. LITERALLY! ABC now has a station inside the white house. Anyone with a brain knows the media is in bed with the Democrat, or is that Demoncrat, party. The media bias hasn't been much in doubt, but this move completely eliminate any one's argument that the media is balanced, fair, or as some extremist that feel the media isn't leftist enough, in the pocket of the right.

ABC has now moved in the White House. This should panic America because this represent everything the 1st amendment was design to prevent. Freedom of the Press was created so the media would be protected in their watching over our government from criticism of those that are elected to represent the people of our republic. It was never meant to be a mouthpiece of the government, though reporters had the right to do so if they choose. However, it was never meant to be a matter of policy for the media. Freedom of the Press was suppose to keep the media from being under the control of the government. Now we have ABC running reports right out of the White House itself. What was to prevent us from having Pravda here in the state has now been materialized. What's worse is this is being done by choice, not by force as often done in dictatorial states like Venezuela. Chavez must be impressed that BO didn't have to force the nationalization of the media.

What makes this even worse, is that ABC is protecting this administration. All the while of promoting the debate over health care in this country, no debate against BO's plan was allowed. This was a President that campaigned that he would be different from the Bush Administration in that he wanted debate and will government according. As this latest gaffe has demonstration, that too is a lie. Not one opposing view was given. All ABC did was pump the propaganda to the people. Gave the world of the messiah as if it's the cure all and wasn't willing to listen or entertain any opposing views. What does this say about ABC's watchdog ability which is what the prime directive of media is suppose to be. I say they lost all credibility and will no longer take anything ABC states with any credence. I will only refer to them to get what is the administration's position is because they will do that with 100% zeal.

Now that this precedence has been established, what's next? What will happen if, let's say, Fox News start giving rebuttals? Will ABC be calling for the nationalization of our media? The argument can be made that for the sake of national unity, something BO voter's expected when they elected him, we need to have the media on the same pages on the facts that are given by our President which so far have mainly been distorted or down right lies. Hitler said if you tell the big lie often enough, it becomes truth. Seems we have an all too complicit media willing to telling the lie and now are no longer fear showing it. It will be interesting to see what NBC and CBS will do next. I fear they'll be tripping ourselves to get into the White House and have their own room to be in favor with their messiah as well.

In the end, this is a terrible day for America. Her media is no longer afraid to show their allegiance to the Democrat party and be their propaganda machine. This is the beginning of the end of the free press here because now all they'll want to do is appease the occupant of the White House. Something the media was never conceive of doing. Now a voice of big government and no longer of the people or their interest, the media has taken a huge step backwards for the health of our republic and a huge step forward for totalitarianism. The Hitler of Iran, Jon Kim Ill, Castro, and Chavez must be proud. Next on the list: Freedom of Speech.

BO healthcare should be nocare.

So, now that the glorious leader that is to end all the world's ills just by his election not only has the entire world starting to fall apart by its own entropy, but his response to it all is to shift gears and distract us with his next egregious disaster: health care. Basically he's outlining the nationalization of our health care by using mandatory insurance, either private or the "public" option, and having the government regulate (ie, take over) the cost and care. Since health care is 17% of our GDP, the largest sector of our economy, this will be a disaster of epic proportion, especially with the baby boomers getting ready to retire and will add to the strain to an already overburden industry.

The first thing this will do is escalate the costs. Two reasons here. The first will be simple supply and demand. With the boomers aging, their need for health care is going to increase and since the boomers are a large segment of our society, the costs will increase as the demand goes up. This is the natural pattern of economics. The second reason is as any Californian knows from when mandatory insurance was enacted, is when everyone is required by the police powers of government backing the law up, tripled our auto insurance. The insurance companies knew that we must have their products or risk arrest and having our cars taken (Illegals exempted of course). Here in California this set up a pseudo-monopoly that allowed the companies to fix the prices by the market being manipulated to them having captive customers. So will it be for the health insurance. Add that often when the government is involved, costs seem to go out the window because government never oversees the costs, and you have the potential to see an expensive industry to becoming out of control.

The next thing this will do is decrease the quality of care. I don't know about you, but when was the last time you look forward to going to the DMV? How is health care going to be any different, and that's just the management of the care. Don't forget, with the government footing the bill, they will make HMO's look like saints in comparison on who gets care or not. The long lines for care and by the time your number is called, the government can refuse to give you the care you need. If the government finds that it will be too costly (paradoxical, isn't it) or that your lifestyle was the cause, they can just refuse. Given the prejudices government have against smoking and some eating habits, they can refuse service if you have a lifetime habit of smoking or eating poorly. Heck, who's to say that political affiliation won't have anything to do with it? After all, when they shut down all those GM dealerships, the one thing all had in common was they were owned or run by Republicans. Not one democrat lost their dealership. One of the most shocking abuse of power I've ever witnessed by the government and it went mostly unreported. Now we're going to trust them to give us medical care without prejudice? I think anyone that believes that is just plain crazy or isn't looking at the character of this administration.

Third, as with government control of market forces, this will create scarcity. With every detail needing approval from a bureaucrat, and we know how efficient those clowns are, this will delay goods and services need to make the industry go. Supplies will become scarce, as well people. Working in the medical field is a highly prestigious and desired profession. Nurses can make $30/hour while doctors $100/hour. Who believe, as BO is doing so with the financial and auto institutions that he has nationalized, that their income won't be fixed? Those wages are going to plummet dramatically. This administration is after what is "fair". Fair in this case is that everyone makes the same wages. The governing principle of Communism. Given the lawsuit crisis that this industry goes through and the government on their backs, and I don't see people entering the profession. My wife, who's completed medical school, has no desire to pursue her medical license with this group in power. She rather go back home and practice in the Philippines. At least she will be allowed to do her job there. It's sad, but a 3rd world country like the Philippines will have better health care than the US if this continues.

Government never improves anything in the private sector. Now they're going to use their police powers to force health care on us. A power that was never intended to be used for insurance, meddling in the financial affairs of the citizen (unless there's fraud). A power that was set up only to protect us from foreign invasion, protect the borders and the life and property of the citizen. Somehow, forcing a 3rd rate health care system on us, where abortions and euthanasia is acceptable medical practice while extorting extreme costs from us was what the framers had in mind as protection of life and property. In the end, all this health care is going to accomplish is making us all sick.
