Free but foolish?

As Obama uses his racist message to get Blacks, Latinos, women, and the youth out to vote to keep his brainless robotitrons in office after this November, I have to wonder what the first volunteers of the 54th Massachusetts would had thought if they could see how events have unfolded since their historic formation. For those that are lacking in historical knowledge (which would be about 99.99999% of liberals) allow me to enlighten you from what I learned about them. Not just from the movie Glory, which is a fine movie, despite some creative licensing involved, but from the history I was able to learn from after seeing the movie that got me interested in learning about this obscure part of American history. For those of you that haven't seen the movie, there will be spoilers, though I don't think it would diminished from the fine film.

What we know about the 54th is from the letters and journal of their commanding officer, Colonel Clay. He was, I believe from connections with his family with the governor and their ties to Lincoln, a young caption that was wounded at Antietam. He was made commander (colonel in this case) of a new brigade. What made this one unique? It was all black. They were the first official black military brigade. Although the government was using them as a political PR move to appease the abolitionist, and it was clear they were never intended to fight, the journal entries that caught my attention were the vast majority of those that volunteer were: ex run away slaves. They seemed to learn quickly, more quickly than the white brigade that he commanded previously (most were lost at Antietam), but their spirits after hours. At first, their moral were high, free spirited and relaxed. They truly seemed to believe in what they were preparing to fight for and with no regards of what price they may have to pay. It seems this lesson in history has been lost on our current generation.

You see, these men knew what it was like in the South. They knew what slavery was like, tyranny of the majority of the South (yea, you can debate about State Rights, but this is what motivated them), how to be property of another human being with no rights of their own. They most likely understood better than any one during this time, early 1863, what it was the Union was trying to oppose. When the Confederacy threaten to take any captured "black" and put them back into slavery and execute any white officer commanding them, not one withdrew. They wanted to put an end to the institution at all costs as they knew what it was like to live under those conditions. Fighting for the Union, they got to choose how to even die if necessary which was more than they had when they were slaves of the South. It was clear they wanted to fight and put an end to slavery. However, those in the military circles had different plans.

Seems that bigotry was everywhere during the 19th century. Though they weren't slaves in the North, they weren't what you called equally respected either. Though the volunteers came from all circles of life, educated, illiterate, rural, urban, slaved and born "free", the unmitigated fact is that many western European descendant Americans still thought of themselves higher than those that weren't (see a lot of that even today, only it's not the Western Europeans now). Heck, even the Irish were disdained. They didn't view them worthy to put in battle even as fodder. They were to be mainly used for manual labor which eventually decayed the moral. The quartermaster even was keeping supplies from them til Shaw took matters in his own hands. It would be such task mastering that would finally get them into battle. I don't if the movie historical view was correct (he black mailed a corrupt general to get combat status for his regiment) as I couldn't find anything to confirmed nor deny, I'm sure something of that nature was necessary to get them into battle. They would only end up fighting two battles in South Carolina. The second, which gained them the respect they deserved was the frontal assault on Fort Wagner near Charleston. Graphically demonstrated the kaos and pure determination to fight, the 54 charged the fort. Unfortunately, they picked the wrong battle as half of them were wiped out, as well as many of the white brigades that attacked for the fort would never be taken. However, the news of their bravery and professionalism spread fast changing the tide of the war as more and more blacks volunteered, replacing many white troops whose 3 year terms were coming to an end.

Now let's fast forward 147 years. I have to wonder what these brave souls that went into the gates of hell, literally, to liberate their brothers only to see what they've become today. To become beholden to a government and political party that has the same contempt and disdain as those officers had. To gone from slaves of plantation owners to slaves of the government, drugs, and gang violence that take so many of their youth? To gone to thinking and doing for themselves to enslaved to the Democratic decree that says to be black you must believe, do, or think a certain way? Remember, these men fought for the first Republican President and yet now think it's the Republicans that oppress them. I can only imagine the bitter pill that they would had to swallow to recognized that. During Clinton's terms, Jesse Jackson (now there's a name I don't type too often) was giving a sermon, I don't remember which year or where, that he literate the same observations. I'll always remember the last statement he made. We've become free but foolish. I hate to think those of the 54th wasted their sacrifice to see their brothers become free but foolish, but I believe, correct me if I'm wrong, that they would be grossly disappointed that their courage and sacrifice to see how their brothers have become today.

Doctor Apathy: the bigger dangers of socialized healthcare?

My wife's mother passed away on Saturday (Sunday in the Philippines). The drama that lasted two years and was so unnecessary has me thinking. How much of a problem is the apathy that drew out this drama prevails to in our medical system. what started as a simple pneumonia infection and up being drawn out into a two year drama that eventually will lead to the death of my mother-in-law. what's worse is the fact that her death will be officially to be determined as caused by natural causes. The mitigating circumstance that eventually led to take a so called natural causes won't even be a footnote in her death certificate. The cause that lead to her secondary infections that will eventually lead to her death won't even be mentioned. It is this hidden danger that really has me wondering and and how big it of a problem this really is in the medical profession.

This tragic story begins two years ago from what started as a simple high fever which led to a visit to the hospital and eventually lead to the prognosis of a pneumonia infection. As it turned out, the infection got severe leading to the need to use massive antibiotics. During which her blood count that low and thus a blood transfusion was needed. Little did anyone know at this time that this simple procedure was to have major and dramatic consequences. It seems that the quality blood supply in the Philippines are quite to the standards as we take for granted here in the united states. Shortly after she recovered from her bout with their infection she started having new symptoms of another aliment. For several months attempts of a follow-up check up mainly with her blood work fell on deaf ears of her Physician. She'd wrote them off as either side effects or just plain harassment of a difficult patient. Even after she started getting jaundice. At this point, my wife, who has had medical training, started to suspect she may have contracted a liver disease. For months she to tried to get her mother to either get her doctor to do a post check up, which her doctor refuse to do, and in fact stopped seeing her, or to get a second opinion from another doctor. After seven months her mother, with intervention from other family members, from the get her to another doctor and within a week was able to confirm that she contacted hepatitis B. To make matters worse there was a notification from the blood bank that some other blood had been contaminated with the hepatitis B. virus. However, her first doctor refused to test for it. having been left unchecked for seven months the virus had done its toll of damage. Treatable when detected early, the long term effect after one year of treatment though eventually did defeat and removed the hepatitis virus, the damage to her liver was done. She ended up with chirossis with 80 percent of her liver damaged beyond repair. Two months later, she died from complications resulting from there of.

What has got me thinking is how in the end on her death certificate the cause of death is going to be natural causes. There is going to be nothing mentioned about how what led to this natural cause was completely preventable. There will be no footnote mentioning how they doctors denial of a patient's symptoms and a lack of care lead to those natural causes. This has me wondering how much of a problem this is currently in our own medical system. How many people have deaths ruled as natural causes when the cause It's something that's completely was treatable or curable, but because of neglect, incompetence, are just plain apathy, a lack of medical care or improper medical care lead to these deaths and they're just not documented. Since such causes don't have any paper trails or just plain may be missed simply because it causes look like natural occurrences, I suspect this problem is much higher than we realize.

What should be troublesome to think about is we have people directly involved and much of this is undetectable as it is. Soon bureaucrats are going to be in charge of our health care and I just got a good example of how damaging apathy can be. How apathetic are bureaucrats gonna be once they're in charge of our health care and on who gets what and when? Who's Gonna be accountable is such negligence apathy are incompetence or involve the Health care that leads to death are it greater sickness. We Already have one reporter the confirmed that there is indeed going to be death panels in our Health care system now so now they have a system that may even encourage such lack a protocol And by design the less. As of now all there are some means of making health care workers accountable for such lack of due diligence. This doctor will be able o bypass such lack of diligence because several family members work for this doctor and do not want to lose their jobs. What's it gonna be like when it's the government in control and they can by mandate indoctrinate such lack of protocols? When by law to cut costs, will be required as means of fiscal responsibility, to be encourage to have such tragic events unfold? Will Use the argument that their time has come and natured just took its course? Can they justify creating these natural causes by improper protocol's We're in a climate of unaccountability, such lapses will be deemed as this infallibility Of the human body all are of the human systems and thus are just the facts of life as we will know it?

I fear that more these unnecessary tragedies will just be commonplace when our new socialist medicine star take effect in 2014. As I've just seen it could be commonplace right now but is well hidden to keep those responsible from suffering the consequences of their acts. With government takeover and implementation, the fear of consequences will be eradicated. Then what will be the determinant against those who have ill will against their fellow man or two and still due diligence in the medical profession? As it's well established that and government accountability is a word that is not well used or implemented. Those that don't use due diligence can now just come out of the woodwork. There will no longer be any motivation for such diligence. I'm sure a great normal of medical professionals applied by great standards and excellence in their protocols but as history has shown all it takes is one or two to do a great deal of damage to the entire industry. All it took to take the life of my mother in law was one. All it took to take the life for my mother in law a delay of a few months. We may even not have the option to seek other opinions are in may take so long that by the time we get it, tragically, it will be far beyond the window of opportunity to alleviate the crisis.

My mother in law was a good hard working woman, who after being willow ed, raise three fine children on her own. She deserved far better treatment and had many more years to contribute. Now that she's gone, I pray now that the lesson from her untimely demise doesn't go unheeded. However, given the apathetic and arrogant attitude of our government and the bureaucracies that are going to be created, I fear more stories like mine are going to be the norm and not the exception.

The question liberals refuse to answer.

One blogger was asking the question of what would happen if Bush dissed the press like Obama with his fake soccer game diversion. The question is rhetorical as we all know what would happen had Bush done such a stunt. Frankly, I don't think Bush was that smart as I found him to be either the biggest RINO in American history, or perhaps the stupidest president in history. I favor the first. The gross bias of the media is so self evident that unless you're either in complete denial or so far left that you find them to be too warm and fuzzy for your taste, that Obama can go to a nursery school, shoot it up and the media will defend him to the bitter end. The question that liberals I've found refuse to answer is why they hate George Bush. They give the same ole rhetoric but when you get down to it, they say because he was a conservative, but he really wasn't. When one looks at Bush's record and compared to their messiah of the One, Obama, there really isn't much difference between the two.

First of all, when it comes to spending, Bush and the Republicans were like drunken sailors at a whorehouse. With the Democrats, they're sober sailors at a whorehouse. Obama has quadrupled Bush's spending and the democrats find that benevolent while claiming Bush's was irresponsible in its magnitude. Huh? What reverse logic are they using there. Bush was crucified in the press over the Medicaid prescription plan mainly by the Democrats and now we have this monstrosity that makes that pale in comparison, both in cost and liberties, and yet Bush is hated as being fiscally irresponsible, but liberals find this new monstrosity, though in lower numbers, barely a majority, a godsend.

Much hatred of Bush escalated during the closing days because of his bailouts, and rightfully so. However, Obama extended the nationalization of not only of our financial institutions that still mostly is still under government ownership, but extended it even further. Now they've nationalized the auto industry as well is working on nationalizing our health care. When Bush just did a few health care regulatory bills, the left went ballistic, now that Obama is hijacking the whole thing, they give praise to the one. When arguing the point, they use "Bush did it".

When the Patriot Act was enacted, civil liberties unions went into overdrive. Over a bill to intervene FOREIGN plots against the people of the United States. In fact, when I ask them to name one right they lost during that period, they couldn't name one. They couldn't name one person they even knew that was effected by this bill. Though I found the Act to be disconcerting and to be vigilant over it, what's going on now should scare us. Obama quadrupled the power of the Patriot Act to include domestic terrorism which can mean anything since it's by the discretion of the President, the minute of the bill that gave me the most concern. I remember what I told fellow conservatives, "there's going to be a Democrat president someday and how do you think that person will use it?" Well, we now have our answer, against his own citizens that they find to be a threat to their empowerment. Obama now wants to regulate the internet because he doesn't care for what's coming from the blogosphere, is making his play against talk radio, his war on Fox News, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh. Anyone starting to see how Bush's liberal approach to fighting the war on terror is coming back to haunt us. Obama has quadrupled and the assault on liberties, and who knows how much further he'll go with the press in his boat. The left finds them benevolent because they're now going after the REAL terrorists, mainly conservative white Americans while the Muslim threat gets worse.

With 3 exceptions, national defense, taxes and supreme court nominees, Obama and Bush are the same. If anything, Obama is Bush on steroids and yet he's loved by the press, liberals, and the left while bush is vilified in the worse I've ever seen in my life time. Yet, it seems the main reason liberals refuse to answer is that Bush was a leftist or left of center president, he just wasn't to the left enough. They seem to refuse to answer because it shows their true colors, as if it's not transparent enough now. That they're anti-American, anti-West, radical, hateful socialist that want to transform the country to those they envy, despotic 3rd world dictators. They're all about control, and nothing about liberties. They're all for rights, as long as they only applied to their like minded socialists. Perhaps most of all, it goes to their moral and intellectual bankruptcy as they manipulate reality to be what ever it wishes it to be. The fact is Obama is Bush on Steroid with the 3 exception. Perhaps the 3 exception is why as liberals don't believe in defending this nation, everything need to be control and taxed by the government and having judicial activist on the bench. This would explain why they refuse to answer why they hate bush, but why conservatives can be critical of Bush when he did socialist agenda while the left and liberals refuse to give criticism of any kind of Obama. They see him as God while Bush, not being leftist enough, is the Devil.

The symptonmatic problem of sex ed.

I was reading over a DA's threat, I don't remember where but I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find, of how anyone teaching contraptives in Sex Ed will be charge with contributing to the deliquency of a minor. Though to a great deal of degree agree with the man, this kind of far right lunacy doesn't do much addressing the issue of who should be responsible for sex education in this country. This a most polorizing issue as it was the final straw, as I'll get into later, that got my ex wife, who was as liberal as they come, she still liberal today but more to the right than she used to be.

The claim by the abstince only group is that sex ed encourages teens to be sexually active while the other side claims pregency and STD's increase when children aren't taught about sexuality and prevention of both pregancy and STD's. Both side have a good degree of validity in their point. Contary to what the left says, sex ed does encourage sexual activity. The thing is children aren't just getting educated in school alone. I had 14 year olds, still today as I substitute teach, that know more about sex to make a brothel worker in Nevada to blush with ignorance and these are 14 and 15 year olds. They view sex ed as the state endorsement that they have a right to their sexuality. Contrary to the right claim, it's their sex ed knowledge that does keep the rates down, about 50% in many areas. There's a bigger picture that missed by both side and why this minister that's also the DA of the district isn't going to win himself any points in the mortal world as well as the spirital world as well.

The real issue isn't education or who's better fit. We can argue til Armageddon comes about it, it won't change people's mind one way or the other. The real issue is what get children to become sexually active at such a tender age to begin with? In my humble opinion, it's our decadent culture and our moral decline. Think the left will despise me for that statement. Well, take a look at the culture we live in.

First, the ads. One thing for sure in our culture, we have given up parenting to letting the media babysit our children. So is it a shock they pick up on the messages protrayed. Just watch the Disney Channel to see how far we've fallen. There, children are modern, in the know, flirty, while parent's are rigid, stupid, archaic, and just inferior. I wonder what these children will grow up to be if all adults are mentally diminished? They have children with rights of adults an no parent has no right to authority over them. They're viewed as being able to handle such responsibilities even better if parents and adults allow them to be free. This includes their maturity and sexuality. Try going 10 minutes without some perverse message (libertian to leftist out there) with reference to freedom without responsibilities. With the exception of buzz driving is drunk driving, they're all actions without consequences. Oh, that and that vaccination for that cervix virus.

When they get older, nobody wants to admit it, but they view, quite often, adult movies. No, not that kind, though I bet it does get through. I mean the R rated features. Hollywood these last few years have taken the perverse to extreme measure. Like the Nicole Kidman movie Birth where she's insinuating having sex with a 10 year old (though she thinks he's the reencarnation of her dead husband). The worse one, Sex in the City. This is now syndicated so we have a series with now two movies of woman being a bunch of unpaid whores and viewed as liberating. I'll never forget the scene that did for me and I left where you have a guy sacrifices and nature for two years to have one of the sluts overcome cancers. What was his reward. She loves herself more. What does that mean? Ladies today wonder why men have no loyalty or respect for them or why we're acting like dogs? Well, when you treat us like dog, we act like it. All in the name of sexual liberation. Well, it goes both ways and young boys and girls know it. Since there's no honor or respect in the relationship, much less the act, all that matters is the here and now. All that matters is the instant gratification.

Often the left, especially women and girls, say they're going to do it anyways and to asking to wait or saving themselves is unrealistic. There I have to agree with them. When we live in a morally bankrupt culture were everything is relative and there's no vice or valor anymore, yea we all tend to descend to the lowest common denominator. When there are no standards, no respect, either for other or ourselves, when self control is viewed as something unnatural, is it a surprise that we have no shame. After all, as a sub now, my main challenge it seems is to keep the children from fondling each other and I don't mean that figuratively. The last assignment I did, one of the "boys" threaten me with a civil rights lawsuit if I did anything to stop him from his right of "affection". I sent him out anyways, but do I worry. Not at the moment. A school district isn't going to advertise their schools are brothels yet. But as we descent more towards anything goes as long as it feel good, I wonder for how much longer. So long as we let our children have freedoms and responsibilities of adult without any real consequences. As this debate is really about who's responsible for the consequences, as long as we continue to have anything goes in our culture sexually, then yea, sex ed is going to continue to encourage children to have sexual relations. As well as they're going to need to be educated to reduce the consequences of pregnancy and STD's. Because it will be unrealistic to give a green light on the subject culturally and not have a vast number to take the offer.

Jamie Escanlante, the passing of a true educational hero.

News of Jamie Escanlante's passing is widespread news. It's not often a teacher gets such national attention. Given the state of our education system, especially those in the inter cities, his accomplishment bordered on miraculous. His story was the inspiration for me to go into the teaching profession. However, it would lead to one of my biggest life long mistakes as I never kept up with story. You see, the movie telling of his accomplishments came out in 1989, 5 years after the story took place. What wasn't known to me as I transfer to Sac State pursuing a math education and later a math degree was what happened after the story. In 1992, his principal retired and things went downhill for him. He had the backing of his principal where most in the LA Unified District were opposed to him as a disruptive influence. When his principals retired the new administrator found him to be a disruptive influence, results be damned. What's worse as more and more incompetent teachers were being hired due to affirmative action, he made his final mistake: opposing the union. When he fought against the union, their support went and then he was hung up to dry. This part of the story I didn't learn til after I got my internship and then what happened to me made sense of how I was doomed from the beginning.

Escanlante faced many challenges. The biggest was getting his students to actually believe they can learn math when they were being told they couldn't. Imagine the shock they got when they were being allowed pretty much to do what ever they wanted as learning wasn't expected of them as he told them remedial math is too easy for them, they're going to learn algebra. I'm sure the class looked at them as if he was completely insane, or a complete joke. I know those looks all too well. I didn't have the backing of my principal however, but that's another blog. He dispel the stereotype by mentioning how their ancestors, the Mayans, come up with the biggest breakthrough in mathematics: zero, the concept of the complete lack of value. This was true as mathematicians, including Newton, struggled with the concept of zero. The breakthrough mathematician and physicists used infinitesimals for his math concepts. When those from the new world were discussing what these "primitives" from Latin America were using, zero, the concept of lack of value, it was a eureka moment and the rest is math history. A stone to throw at the barrier that Latinos can learn math, it's in their blood.

In addition, another barrier was to get them to have a desire to learn math. After all, so what if they learn math, algebra, whatever. What good will it do them. One of the most memorable lines he had was, "Those people that can't do math deep fry chicken for a living". Not something those in the educational community wanting their students to know for some reason. How he told a tee mechanic that he should be BUILDING cars, not fixing them. His goal was to inspire his student that they are capable of bigger and better things. A lesson they received as one girl used that inspiration to convince her mother to sign off on her learning Calculus as it required after school and before school hours as well as Saturdays so they needed parental approval to have them attend. She stated, "I'm learning Calculus so I don't have to rely on a man for my support". Ah, so she can be more than a possession that relies completely on the male master for her survival. What attracted me to my wife, her smarts. But again, that's another blog. Compare that today what is taught in school. The biggest is that they're so ignorant that they need affirmative action or government intervention to give them an "equal" opportunity against those that are better educated or better able to learn. What racist nonsense.

The other obstacle that he had which unfortunately still goes on today is teacher envy prejudices. Many on the faculty at Garfield High didn't believe their students were even capable of mastering the subject matter. Many, still thinking self esteem is better than learning, thought he would take what little self esteem they had left and destroy it. It was clear by the start that many of his students were lacking self esteem. They were lacking higher expectation to take them to he next level. This was indicative of those bad teachers that didn't want to look incompetent in my personal opinion. Perhaps many, educated by leftist ideals in the credentialing programs of the time that it really was a lack of self esteem and do nothing to damage their self worth. Escanlante knew that accomplishment, not unworthy praise and fake grades, were the pathway to self esteem. He learned that in Columbia when he got his math degree and teaching credential at the age of 43.

The culture war was a huge obstacle as well. One was a gang member who wanted to work his way out. He had to study in secret to avoid violent repercussions. He was even given 3 books, one for the class, his locker and at home for he couldn't been seen with it. As long as it was in his locker giving the appearance that he wasn't studying, the gangs left him alone. This still goes on today as I witnessed it myself as I got confrontation that was I failing them because they were acting too black or how a couple of gang bangers seeing a friend on the perfect attendance list going to go kick his a$$. There's a culture war in the balkanized thinking that to learn is to be white. It was bad in 1984 and it's worse today.

Stereotypes are hard to break. When his students took the AP test and smoked it, the administrators of the test couldn't believe it. In fact they didn't. They nullified their scores as they suspected they cheated (they all missed the same questions concisely. I still think it was the substitute MUSIC teacher that took his place for a couple of weeks when he had his first heart attack that was behind why, not Escanlante). Though they couldn't prove that cheating took place, they forced them to take the test again, only a harder one as well as they were being watch more closely. In the end half got 4's (a college B), a third got 5's and the rest 3's. All passed without question. Escanlante's point was proven.

However, the story doesn't end there. His success gradually improved over the years until his Principal retired as mentioned before. As he saw more and more bad, incompetent or downright apathetic teachers got hired, he started to rebel against the union that protected them. He felt, rightfully so, that the union wasn't having the best interest in the students and was a corrupting influence. Well, as the Governor learned, you don't go against the teacher's union. Especially in California. It's the most powerful union in the state, except perhaps the lawyer's guild, and even he couldn't survive. With the union against him with those apathetic and envious teachers, as well as corrupt administrators that believe the leftist mantra, he was eventually fired. He would get another job in Sacramento, but he was never the same teacher again nor was able to repeat the accomplishments that he did in LA. There are still some that maintained that he cheated, he was just so good at it that he nor his students were able to get caught. Hiram Johnson High hired him in hopes of turn that school around, but with the union and student rights, he wasn't able to maintain the discipline needed to make such accomplishments. I was able to sub for the school before he finally retired in 03 and I can tell you the school was in bad shape. Dilapidated building, graffiti, gang symbols. It was clear the school was run by the gangs or those that support them. Escanlante, without support from those higher ups, couldn't perform his miracles as he was no longer allowed to. After all, students have their rights as being the right not to learn if they choose not to.

The big picture of his man's story and accomplishment is how badly the education system, at least here in California, has failed. When teachers are allowed to educate, be in charged and discipline maintained, our children can become bigger and better then they realize. The expectation of our education system is catering so much to the lowest common denominator, it's no secret to why it fails so miserably. A union that backs the dysfunction and perpetuates the stereotypes and frankly is becoming so balkanized and racist, that it's beyond repair. The head of the Department of Education stated and it's being taught in our teacher preparation programs is that people of race can't learn from those outside because those outside their race can't communicate to them. That the black student will learn best from a black teacher, a Hispanic student from a Hispanic teacher, and so on and unless all the white teachers are removed for the education system, students will continue to fail. It was at this point I lost all passion for teacher and wanted out. It was at this point I tried, and eventually was successful, to get my ex wife to take our children out of public school and home teach. A lesson more and more Californians are learning as more of them are home schooling. This hasn't escape the attention of the educators and union. They have made one attempt to make home schooling illegal unless the parent has a teaching credential. In other words, toes the line of the leftist propaganda. It failed because Arnold was going to veto it. However, we have an election coming up and should a democrat win the governorships, which moonbeam Jerry Brown is hoping to do, then that option of home schooling will be taken and the monopoly that got a such a successful man like Escanlante removed and discredited will have a total and complete monopoly on the education of our children here. It will have Escalante and his accomplishments forever forgotten and that will be a far greater loss than the death of this man. Should that come to pass, then at least he didn't live to see everything he believed in become completely destroyed by the powers that he fought against. That indeed will be the greatest tragedy.

The hypocrisy and evil of liberals.

The latest diatribe by the left just has me completely disgusted and I'll admit down right scared. The hatred, anger, stupidity, and promotion of evil is just staggering and how they disguise them as acts of benevolence, justice and moral is downright insane. I've gone through a few articles and comments and what I'm discovering is not only has Obama broken his promises in extreme levels, but most are over looking one that the media has made and though their justification isn't overlooked, the original promise has: that Obama will unified the country. The country is more divided than I've ever seen and perhaps the most since the Civil War and possibly worse. Just look at people's attitude, especially the left's, and there's no unity at all. Just hatred, class warfare, racism against whites, bigotry against religion (except Islam and though many on the left claim to hate them and their God, they sure don't show it publicly). It's sad that the very principals that they claim to enbrace, freedom of speech, alms for the poor, equality are nothing but buzz words to mesmerized the populace to over look the liberties they're forking over.

First, I'll start with a comment that was written by a person in the SF Gate (not best reading, but gives insights into the mind of one of the most insane cities in the country) by someone with the handle Trudat3. I'll state a comment made about an article where the tea party was being sued for libel by one of their donors:

Tea Baggers are just plain white sheet & burning cross racists hidden under a thin facade of inaccurate and unintelligent political rhetoric. As a conservative Republican, they are an embarrassment of such a degree that I am seriously considering registering as an independent unless the RNC cuts all ties and disavows their hate-filled politics and tactics.

Obama could have destroyed al Qaeda, insured every American, saved us from recession, reversed the mortgage disaster, and made our borders secure and the Tea Baggers would still want him out of office.....because he isn't WHITE.

To be fair, I've read some of his other comments and though he's or she takes a lot of conservatives stances, when it comes to racial policies, this person is as bigoted as they come since this person is racist against whites. I say to this person, do us all a favor and leave the Republican Party because we have way too many RINO's as it is.

To the leftist racist points. The comment about Obama. I don't know if he's kept up with current events, but Obama hasn't destroyed Al Qadea. In fact, he's en bolding them with his stupid policies to coddle terrorism. He's insured every American now and over 60% don't like it because it takes from their liberties, will, despite the fantasy that the government is promoting, is going to skyrocket rates and put people in jail if they refuse. In other words, at a great cost that can't be afforded both financially and to our liberties. Not only has NOT saved us from recession but made it worse nearly doubling the unemployment rate and endangering us to hyper inflation with the tripling of our debt and it's only been 15 months while eliminating the Bush tax cuts so don't blame Bush for it, jobs are still being shredded, and all the while spending are to obscene levels. To give how bad, the average economy in the world is $300 billion. Obama's deficit for just this year alone is 4 TIMES HIGHER and that's just the deficit. What testimony does it gives when you needed the entire economies of 4 average countries just on the EXCESSIVE SPENDING? The mortgage crisis, despite all the bribes to the public in the tax credits and "stimulus" hasn't reversed it at all and in fact is going to create another bubble as the slowing down will end once these end and then what? Crisis part 2. Instead of making our borders more secure, they're even more poresous as big sis goes after patriotic Americans that only want to see our laws enforced all the while giving the largest terrorist threat, no not the Christian right as the leftist see all religion as evil except Islam only because the Muslim will actually kill them if they say so, the Muslim get free passes. They're not checked nor will they be subjected to the full body scans as it "offends" their faith of modesty. In that case, why not just surrender since what makes them terrorist is grounds for exempting them from security checks. When it comes to national security, this groups is as incompetent as they come. You see Obama is a complete failure on all these issues, yet this person with their great wisdom doesn't see that it's not his failed policies that the issue with the tea party, it's his color. What other defense do Obama supporters have to explain the opposition to the man other than to cry racism because his policies don't support his legacy so far. This shows not only the left's contempt against the people they supposedly represent, but their bigotry to only see white people where there are many of different colors at these tea party but the media doesn't show them and thus make the claim it's only white people and it's not because BO's policies are a failure, it's because he's black.

What else I see is how the abortion, or what I'll call the protection of innocent life as this will become prevalent in the health care bill that was just passed. The comments and hatred against Christians over the death of an abortion doctor just shows the vile hatred of anyone that isn't towing the moral relativism line. First of all, to beat a dead horse yet again, the conflict of women's liberties over life of new born. I'm not going over that as it's been done to death. It's the counter arguments by the left that should disturb anyone with moral fibers what so ever. Their hatred of Christians as they want to end abortions (I personally keep the exception for rape, incest and mother endangerment) while supporting the death penalty. What the left doesn't get and why they make the hyprocrisy claim is that we believe in protecting INNOCENT life. This is what I find evil about the left. They hate innocent lives. They're all for aborting babies, defending murders and terrorists all the while hating the military that defends the country. Those that have done no wrong or committed no sin are to be protected, but the left does the opposite. They like abortion on demand while seeking to eliminate the death penalty unless it's for what they perceive as Christian intolerance. Then the government needs to execute them, like the one that executed the abortion doctor. Unlike those of Christian faith, we condemn those that commit heinous acts of murder like him. Try getting that from those that commit terrorist acts from the Islamic community (you won't because they believe in terrorism) or from those that kill in the name of leftist causes as they're branded as freedom fighters. Just look at how those that murder in the 60's and 70's in the name of liberal causes. Patty Hearse is viewed as a hero, never mind that marry band robbed banks and murdered an Innocent bystander. Oh, the person was INNOCENT, therefore ok. Shoot, one story that I found in amazement was a woman suing a school that took her daughter to have an abortion without her consent. The mother was outrage not because her daughter had an abortion, or killed her grandchild, or even had a major medical procedure on her minor child. Not, it was because her parental rights were violated in her opinion. You see, she was all for the killing of her grandchild, it was the fact that she didn't need to be consented that she objected to. The anti-Christian bigotry was all over the comment boards til the fact the mother was pro-choice . . . oh sorry, an abortion right advocate as they're called now. It was only the fact that the school was able to have it done without her consent and you know what, surprising as it, I agree with her. I don't agree on her reason why as she wanted her daughter to have the abortion, but as parents since we're responsible for our children til they turned 18, we have the right to consent to such major medical procedure as they can't have an aspirin without such, but can have abortion.

This gets to a core of an issue that doesn't come up. My wife said once as the average Filipino family has 6 children that Filipinos loves their babies, especially the mothers. Here in the states, the women hate their babies or surely don't really love them. I hate to admit she's right. Frankly, we don't seem to have much love for our children here. Look at how the left treat them. They're to be killed before they're born. Afterwords, they get sub par education, the bully and terrorists are supported while the Innocent are left to their own devices. They usurp parental authority and left to slaves of their own passions and tyranny of their peers. I know, I've seen it myself when I was teaching. We take any guidance and authority in the name of freedom for the children when they're not ready for the consequences and responsibility of those freedoms and yet the left called those of us that want to instill discipline and guidance cruel and controlling. Heck we try to encourage our adults to not have any. That they're a burden and obstacle to our liberties. Heck, many on the left feel parents are too stupid and incompetent, and many leftest parents do demonstrate that just look at Britney Spears or Billy Ray Cirus and how poorly they are, and they want the state to be the providers. Oh I fear that on so many levels.

The health care bill is now law and much of what the tea party stated, you know those evil right wing conspiracies that was from those racist crackpots that was making things up because they really just want to see the first black president fail. Well, it was confirmed lately that there are indeed death panels in the law. A reporter went so far to defend it (again, let's kill the Innocent again) as the panel make the decision to deny care it will save the government money. Meanwhile, til the single payer system is enacted, though I take a leap of faith here as the single payer system isn't really in the law but the option is, we're paying by force of the gun in 2012 to pay or be jailed. Who knows what this will lead to as this law gives the government say in activities and policies that affect health. Since that has such a broad range, it can come down to telling us what to eat, what recreation we can engage in, what car we can drive, and it will be the poor that will be stifled the most since the rich can afford to pay. So much for justice for the poor or for those that can't afford to pay. So much for the horror stories of those that were deny care by the insurance company because now all that has been done is that the denial of care will go from the evil insurance company to our benevolence (until the Republican is elected) government. What hypocrisy.

Finally, what is truly evil and hyprocritical is these cries of racism over anyone who opposes Obama. Frankly, racism is playing a huge part in the dissimulation of our country, but it's coming from the left, not the right. Opposing the One's policies because they're proven failures and haven't done anything to get our country out if it doldrums isn't because of racism. Frankly, this man is getting away with so much is because he's black. Racist you say. Well, health care was finally passed. When Clinton and Bush tried, they were soundly defeated by opposing parties. Obama got one of the worse version through using bribes, blackmail, secret deals, arm twisting and some of the most corrupt methods used. He succeeded where white men failed using techniques that would had gotten white men arrested. If it wasn't because of his color, then what was different? His oratorical skills? Nope, Reagan would had passed it. We have a president that can put naked Marxist and radical leftist into position of power in the form of Czars, and yet doesn't really get questioned as to what they're doing or what empowerment's they have. A few have been ousted but only after great outcry from such extremist posturing. If Bush or Clinton had even attempted such exgregious acts they would had been stomped right there.

The gist is such a great deal of corruption, evil, oppression, and tyranny is elevating in our once free republic. The left is behind most of it and much of it was set up by Bush and the final nails are being pounded by Obama and the radical left in congress like Poloski, Boxer, Reid, Durbin to name a few. RINO's like McCain and Bush led the way. Those, especially white liberals, are going wake up and realize we have a broken and balkenized society and we have allow ourselves to slip into a 3rd world status as a banana republic. Perhaps, but I doubt it, that many conservatives have warned and worked against letting this transpire. Perhaps then, the left will realize that the tea party was conspired of sheet wearing (though I like to see one) racist that opposed Obama because he's black. Perhaps they're see that they let Obama turned our country around because he was black and to appear otherwise, they let our republic die. That would be the worse act of hypocrisy.
